WE RING THE BELL AT NYSE ON OUR 150th ANNIVERSARY
BALTIMORE, MARYLAND -- JUNE 24, 2004 - Adams Express Company Chairman Douglas G. Ober will lead a delegation of board members and employees to the New York Stock Exchange on the 150th anniversary of the date - Thursday, July 1 - that the company was incorporated in 1854. Mr. Ober will ring the Exchange's Closing Bell at 4 p.m. Adams Express is among the longest-listed NYSE companies traded continuously under the same name. Its stock has been traded on the Exchange since 1866.
